ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – A former New Mexico Military Institute cadet, who attacked another cadet last year, is in trouble again.

17-year-old Chance Butler was one of two cadets who beat up a 16-year-old teammate after he reported them for smoking marijuana.

Butler pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and was allowed to serve probation in Texas. Butler violated the rules of his probation and was brought back to New Mexico and put in the Roswell Juvenile Detention Center.

Now, according to The Daily Record, Butler is facing more charges after he attacked another inmate earlier this month.
