Cardboard Playhouse presents ‘Into The Woods Jr.’

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Cardboard Playhouse and The South Broadway Cultural Center are proud to bring to the stage Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk), and the Witch– in the whimsical original story, ‘Into The Woods Jr’. The musical centers on a baker and his wife who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse and wind up changed forever. This is a tale about wishes, family, and the choices we make.

The Brothers Grimm’s fairy tale will hit the stage October 9-18, 2015 Fridays & Saturdays at 7pm and Sundays at 2pm.
