The organization held a huge celebration, not only to mark the milestone, but to hand over the keys to the new owners.

The family is from the Netherlands, but one of them has deep ties to New Mexico. The mother was born in Taos.

The organization got a $15,000 check from Wells Fargo on Monday to continue their work.
