TEDxABQ 2015 Speaker: Gail Rubin

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – TEDxABQ is happening this Saturday, September 12. 20 locals will be taking the stage, all of whom are making big differences in our community. We sat down this morning with one of those speakers, Gail Rubin, to learn all about what she’s doing and what she’ll be talking about this Saturday.

Let’s face it, we are all going to die. Gail’s talk is about the importance of end-of-life planning and the huge difference it can make for those left behind.  It might sound depressing, but Gail is a professional death educator who is adept at using humor to make it easier for all of us to think about and talk about things we’d rather not… but probably should.  She is working to start the Good-Goodbye Foundation to help the majority of us who do no end of life planning work through the issue.

Gail also has a book available covering these sometimes hard-to-tackle discussions. Be sure to check her out along with the other 19 speakers this Saturday.
