TUESDAY: Slightly drier conditions will move in over the state this afternoon, hurting today’s rain chances but not eliminating them completely. Spotty to scattered storms are likely in and around the high country in the Southwest as well as the far Northeastern Plains. An incoming cold front edging in over the far northeast will help trigger today’s storms. Afternoon temperatures will be similar to what was felt Monday – 70s and 80s for most while the far south and east breaks back into the low to mid-90s.
WEDNESDAY: As the mentioned cold front continues to push west through eastern & central NM, rain chances will continue to favor the Eastern Plains. Afternoon temperatures will be a replica of Tuesday – expect 70s, 80s and 90s statewide.
