County officials taking proposals for old downtown jail

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Bernalillo County wants to hear from people who are interested in using the old downtown jail.

It was cleared out when MDC opened in 2001. The property was then leased to Cornell Corrections but closed in 2011.

Since then, it’s been used for film and TV productions.

County officials say they’ll be taking proposals for about two weeks. To learn more, click HERE.
