Chris’ Saturday Evening Forecast

Clouds & some rain are plaguing parts of central and western New Mexico.  Albuquerque will have a shot for some light to moderate rain before sunset tonight before most of the showers begin to fizzle out tonight.   We will start out dry with lingering clouds on Sunday morning before another round of rain & a few thunderstorms develop by the afternoon.   The best shot for rain on Sunday will be around the mountains and also in southwest New Mexico where a weather disturbance will ride in from the south.   Drier air starts to work in tomorrow afternoon and for Labor Day for central and northern New Mexico.   Storm chances on Labor Day will be limited to the central mountain chain and into the eastern half of the state.   We really start to dry out and warm back up for the middle of the week before a cold front knock temps back down and brings rain chances back by the end of the upcoming week.
