Mark’s Friday Night Weather Report

Wet Then Dry Holiday Weekend

Moisture streaming in from the Pacific will continue to fuel thunderstorms through Saturday across most of western and central New Mexico. Although we won’t the widespread rain we saw today were still looking at a nice set up for storms through the day on Saturday. As we head into Sunday drier air will begin to punch in and showers will become more scattered in nature.

Drier air settles in to wrap the holiday weekend on Monday with partly cloudy skies and just isolated storms. The chance to return to stormy weather will be back in the forecast by late next week.
