ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta says it is looking for people to “take the launch” to volunteer for a variety of positions and shifts during the nine day event.

Volunteer positions include shift leaders, shuttle drivers, greeters, working the information booth, helping with Breakfast & Balloons and Dine & Glow, family arts and helping in the museum shoppe.

Mandatory trainings are scheduled for September 21 to 30. Volunteers will receive T-shirts, badges and parking passes for the museum’s large lot.

Volunteers are required to provide a copy of their driver’s license and pass a background check. Registration and background checks must be completed no later than September 27.
