SANTA FE (KRQE) – Santa Fe Police recovered a jacket from a house that was burglarized. They think the thief stole it somewhere else and left it at the scene of the crime. They hope it will lead to more victims. Anyone who knows the owner of the jacket is asked to call police.

State police investigate courthouse break-in

LINCOLN, N.M. (KRQE) – State police are investigating a break-in at the Lincoln County Courthouse. Police say the thief broke in at 5:00 in the morning through a window and stole a 1921 Thompson submachine gun from the lawman’s exhibit inside the building. The gun is operational and it’s a fully automatic weapon. The Lincoln County Courthouse is one of several properties that make up the Lincoln historic site.
