Showers and storms will continue Wednesday afternoon, but not to the extent we’ve seen the past two afternoons. The Gila and Northern Mountains will be the best place to find storms as we continue to use up left over moisture.
A new round of moisture gets ushered into the state Thursday and Friday as high pressure pulls some moisture from a tropical depression moving well south of the state. Once again, the showers and storms will focus under the main moisture plume, across central and western New Mexico.
Enough moisture will be left for a few more showers and storms over the weekend before a drying trend takes hold early next week.
