The importance of community events with the Rail Yards Market

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Rail Yards Market has quickly become a community staple in the Downtown and Barrelas neighborhoods, and Alex Paramo shared with us just how important that is for the entire city. Hundreds of people are now attending on a weekly basis, contributing to the local economy and building relationships with one another. He also provides details on a fundraising event taking place at Tractor Brewery Wells Park, which will benefit the Rail Yards.

111 Media Collective is a local printing group who has had a big hand in the growth of the Rail Yards Market. You can head to 111 4th Street to print your own designs and check out some of their’s. You can also see them every Sunday at the market and actually print on site there. So bring any of your old t-shirts or other materials you’d like to revamp a little bit.

The Rail Yards Market happens every Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
