Hobbs woman pleads guilty to drug trafficking charges

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A Hobbs woman was in court Wednesday after being charged with drug trafficking.

Ida Rodriguez, 46, plead guilty to a three count felony charging her with “distribution of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute,” according to police.

Police say Rodriguez sold meth to an undercover agent in July and August of 2014 and was in possession of meth this year as well.

After a plea deal, Rodriguez was sentenced to 60 months in prison.
