ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Police say an Albuquerque man is in federal custody after being charged with robbing a business at gunpoint.

Deputies say Raiff Hayes, 24, was in court Wednesday morning after he allegedly robbed ABQ Interlock in July. Surveillance video shows Hayes pointing a gun at two employees; workers were later able to identify Hayes as the robber.

Depending on the conviction, Hayes could spend between 10 to 20 years behind bars. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
