ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Isotopes didn’t look good early as they gave up a one-run lead in the top of the 2nd. El Paso went on to score 3 runs in the top of the 2nd and hold that lead until the ninth.

The Topes then scored four runs in the 9th inning, including a pair with two outs, to beat the El Paso 5-4. Catcher Tommy Murphy started the rally with a two-run home run in the 9th inning, and infielder Trevor Story went 4-for-5 with a game-tying single. Albuquerque took the series against El Paso 3-2 with all three Topes victories being walk-offs.

Better Call Saul: Isotopes Edition

Also the cast of Better call Saul made it out to the park on Sunday night. It was Bob Odenkirk’s first game at Isotopes Park, but he really enjoyed it.

“This is my first isotopes game. You know when I was on breaking bad the crew and cast would come to a ton of games, but my character Saul Goodman was only in. He wasn’t in every episode, but I am here more now and I had time to come tonight and i m really glad I did. I’ll come to a lot more,” said Odenkirk.

He is also a big fan of baseball, and his team is the Chicago Cubs. He really appreciates the fans of Albuquerque and is very fond of the food. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
