ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A push to get kids involved in the Running Start for Careers Program is taking place.

The program is a partnership between Albuquerque Public Schools and Central New Mexico Community College that helps high school juniors and seniors can earn college credit while working internships.

The city says these students get better grades and that 86 percent of those that graduate from the program go to college.
