City of Albuquerque partners with Diner en Blanc

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The international ‘white party’ phenomena, Diner en Blanc has just announced an exciting partnership between them and the City of Albuquerque. Mayor Berry is going to be a bus leader for the big event on Thursday, August 27.

With this partnership, the city is now an official supporter of Diner en Blanc. It’s a collaboration that will boost both entities, in a joint effort to elevate Albuquerque’s profile as a city that truly has it all.

Attendees registering for Diner en Blanc will now have the option to ride Mayor Berry’s bus to and from the party’s secret location, and dine with him and fellow bus riders during the chic event. The Mayor’s bus will be leaving from the La Cueva High School pickup point.

Event goers are to dress in all white and bring everything they need, including a table, chairs, table décor and food – for a “pop-up” dinner at a secret location. They dine, dance, and celebrate for hours. At the end of the evening, they ride their bus back to their starting location. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
