Rio Arriba County man dies from lightning strike

RIO ARRIBA COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – State police is investing a single motorcycle crash in Rio Arriba County.

Police were on the scene Saturday at about 2:30 in the afternoon due to the crash. They say Juan Trujillo, 37, was traveling eastbound on US 64 when he crashed on his 2007 Honda motorcyle. Officials say he was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead on the scene.
