Google executives meet with Moriarty Mayor to discuss Titan Aerospace

MORIARTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The Mayor of Moriarty met with Google executives Thursday to discuss the future of Titan Aerospace.

The mayor released a statement saying Google decided to move the project to the Bay Area to allow the team to collaborate better with other google teams.

Google spent $15 million building a structure in Moriarty and the state provided a million dollar economic grant.

The state says it was guaranteed in a clawback clause that the company will have to pay back the taxpayer money. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
