HOUSTON, TEXAS (KRQE) – Animal control officers are trying to figure out who owns a snake that terrified people living in a Texas apartment complex.
The deadly 2-foot Albino Cobra – coiled up and ready to attack – sat right in the middle of the hallway in Houston. Residents gathered around the snake trying to figure out what to do. One man tried to use a toy robot to corner the reptile.
When that didn’t work, they went to extra measures.
“We talked about throwing a laundry basket over him or doing something, ut we were worried that the snake was going to go someplace where we couldn’t find him,” said Jan Johson. “So it’s better to keep him in sight.”
Three police officers arrived and threw a pillow case over the snake. Animal control came and euthanized it, saying it was too aggressive.
