New Mexico State Police: 2 drivers killed in fiery crash

ROSWELL, N.M. (AP) — New Mexico State Police say two motorists were killed in a fiery collision involving three vehicles.

According to state police, the accident occurred late Wednesday on U.S. 380 between Roswell and Tatum.

An initial investigation indicates a pickup traveling westbound drove into the eastbound lane, colliding with a car and a tractor-trailer rig.

The car and the pickup caught fire and both drivers were killed, while the big rig’s driver was not injured.

Identities weren’t released.
