Attorney says SUV driver was never warned of sinkhole danger ahead

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The attorney for the driver whose SUV was swallowed by a sinkhole says her client was never warned of the danger ahead.

Two weeks ago, Lynn Parsons was driving near Indian School and America’s Parkway when her SUV fell through a big sinkhole caused by a water break.

In a letter to the Water Utility Authority her attorney says the agency is 100 percent to blame.

She claims there were no barriers or signs warning drivers about the leak. The attorney goes on to say that a utility authority employee never told parsons not to drive through the area.

Parsons claims she suffered shock and trauma.
