Storm leaves significant damage in southeast New Mexico

HOBBS, N.M. (KRQE) – A powerful storm swept through southeast New Mexico Thursday leaving significant damage.

According to the National Weather Service, the damage was the result of severe winds, but they are investigating if it may be from something more, such as a microburst or small tornado.
