NM Pinon Coffee Co. offers coffee lovers educational classes

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – It all started with a man who roasted and sold coffee out of the back of his red truck and called it his New Mexico Pinon Coffee Company.

Twenty years later, NM Pinon Coffee Company is the largest coffee roaster in the state, roasting over 800,000 pounds of coffee per year.

The coffees is made with a unique mixing of pinon that has been picked in the southwest. The coffee is hand-roasted in small batches and with more than 50 flavors to choose from.

Facts such as these and many others can be learned at the company’s course, Coffee 101. This course is the ultimate coffee tasting experience.

Classes are offered every other Saturday and the next class is Saturday, July 25th from 10 a.m. until noon.
