Temyrss Lane promotes soccer in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)- Former professional soccer player and now soccer analyst and broadcaster, Temryss Lane, was in Albuquerque Saturday night supporting the N-7 Nike Native American Initiative.

Lane herself was born on a reservation in Washington, and spoke at the banquet for the ninth annual Indigenous Soccer Cup. She is a former professional soccer player that has played in Sweden. Since then, she works for Fox covering soccer, even covering the Women’s World Cup.

Lane is happy to spread the sport of soccer over reservations around the nation, and thinks New Mexico is a great example of how much soccer has grown in the U.S.
