Hobbs works quickly to put up neighborhood safety sign for mom

Autistic Sign

CARLSBAD, N.M. (KRQE) – The government really can get things done quickly.

Evidence of that is now standing in Carlsbad. It’s a sign alerting people to an autistic child in the area.

A mother there posted on Facebook that she wanted a sign to help protect her two autistic sons. In 30 minutes, she got a message from a city councilor saying “Okay, it’s in the works.”

A couple of days later the sign was up.
