Henson completes chemotherapy

Lou Henson named to Collegiate Basketball HOF

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Future Hall of Fame Basketball coach Lou Henson has completed seven days of chemotherapy at a Houston hospital. Reports in El Paso say Henson went to Houston over two weeks ago for tests due to a weak immune system.

Family members say he is in good spirits. The former Illinois and NMSU basketball coach is returning to his summer home in Illinois. Henson will be inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in November.
