Daily Lobo announces it will no longer be a daily publication

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The University of New Mexico student publication plans to stop its daily printing and focus on its online presence.

The newspaper will continue to be printed on Mondays and Thursdays.

The board that oversees the Daily Lobo says newspapers across the nation are making this same transition.

Students have mixed feelings.

“I think we should keep it printed. I always see a lot of students carrying the Daily Lobo,” Geraldine Cano.

“It’s easier to read and obviously, it saves a lot of paper. Personally, I think it’s a good idea,” Brett Reynolds.

Although the Daily Lobo will no longer be a daily newspaper, it will be a daily e-paper.
