July 4th with the Downtown Growers Market

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – With so much going on around the Duke City this 4th of July, you have no excuse to not get outside and celebrate. One stop you should make is at the Downtown Growers Market, located at Robinson Park on 8th and Central. You can check out a number of local vendors from 8 to noon, and we met a few of them today.

If you have little ones at home, you’ll want to stop by Emily Bennett’s Baby Blastoff stand. All local and handmade, you can dress your kids in some super adorable and fun clothing and accessories.

Next stop is Bobby Bustamante’s truck. As owner of Crack Pot Herbs he grows all of his own produce, while offering a variety of tasty herbs you can cook with at home.

Finally, cool down with a popsicle from Pop Fizz. Owner Carlos Alvarez uses all natural ingredients to make these tasty treats. You can also find him at his physical location at 1701 4th Street.
