Western Music Association hosts Youth Day at Old Town

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Western Music Association is bringing back its annual Youth Day at Old town this 4th of July weekend. Enjoy music, poetry, food, dance, and much more. This is a team effort between the City of Albuquerque and the WMA. You can see Austin Van (above) perform this weekend, along with 5 other local musicians. The event is this Sunday, July 5 from noon to 5 p.m.  Performances will be at the Gazebo. All ages are welcome.

The Western Music Association aims to preserve western music and culture, designed more so with youth in mind. They hope to get more children appreciating the music and culture, so it can stay alive as generations who loved it continue to get older.
