Man accused of church bomb threats faces judge


ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Abelito Chavez, accused of making bomb threats against two Albuquerque churches, faced a judge Wednesday.

The judge set his bond at $1,000

APD says Abelito Rivera called 911 Sunday saying he had placed bombs at legacy church near Wyoming and Montgomery and at St. Anne’s Catholic Church near Isleta and Arenal.
