Midweek warm up before storms finish off the work week

WEDNESDAY: Afternoon temps will warm into the 80s and 90s statewide today. A few more spotty storms and showers will develop over northern NM by late day – the rest of the state will stay dry.

THURSDAY: An incoming cold front will bring in abundant moisture to help get scattered to widespread showers and storms going Thursday afternoon. Afternoon temps will fall just a touch with most of the area further down into the 80s and 90s.

FRIDAY: An active finish to the work week with widespread storms and showers likely to fill in over the state. High temperatures will take another hit with the Albuquerque-metro area dipping down into the 80s.
