Civic Plaza ice rink opens to public

Civic Plaza ice rink

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The synthetic ice rink at Civic Plaza is now open.

“Ice Qube” is five times bigger than the rink used last winter at the plaza. The city hopes it’s another reason to head downtown.

The Ice Qube will be up through July 12, but will mostly be used during the holiday season.

It is free to go, but skate rentals cost $3. To view the hours and learn more, click HERE.
