TUESDAY: As high pressure nears the state, rain chances will diminish for most of us with only the higher terrain favored for any meaningful rain today. Afternoon temperatures will be similar to yesterday (if not, a few degrees warmer) leaving high temperatures in the 80s and 90s statewide.
WEDNESDAY: Spotty to scattered storms will be possible for the northern half of the state with partly cloudy skies filling in between. Temperatures will take another 1-3 degree jump giving us another round of 80s and 90s.
THURSDAY: With the help of an incoming cold front, moisture will surge into the state from east to west – helping trigger widespread showers and storms. Heavy rain will be possible within some stronger storms.
