1 person displaced after apartment fire in southeast Albuquerque

(KRQE) – Albuquerque Firefighters quickly extinguished apartment fire in southeast Albuquerque.

Around 1 p.m. Saturday, fire crews were dispatched to a structure fire at 824 Ortiz Drive SE.

Investigators say that smoke and flames were showing upon arrival. Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire, containing the damage to one apartment.

There were no injuries reported but authorities say that one person is possibly displaced due to not having electricity.
