Merican Slang to make fireworks for Fourth of July

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Fourth of July will be full of fireworks and cheer, but one American spirited band will be releasing their new album that will create fireworks of its own.

Merican Slang is celebrating the Fourth of July on stage at the Freedom 4th Festival at the Balloon Fiesta Park at 4 p.m.  Admission is free to attend and will go on rain or shine.

Later that night at 10 p.m. Merican Slang will perform again at Low Spirits where they will release their first album.  Admission is $10.

The band joined KRQE’s This Morning team not only to talk about their upcoming events, but to share a few of their songs, watch above.
