Albuquerque police look for men after chaos at CVS

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Police are looking for the men who caused chaos at an Albuquerque CVS.

Albuquerque Police Department officials say surveillance video shows two men walk in the CVS near Coors and Montano. Police said they headed right to the liquor aisle and started acting strangely.

“The manager saw this and went over to check on the individuals and they actually threw a bottle of liquor at the manager’s face,” said Officer Tanner Tixier, Spokesperson for Albuquerque Police Department.

After throwing the bottle, police said chaos followed.

“They then ran around the store like little heathens, running into patrons, slamming one patron into the drink cooler, injuring her leg, before fleeing out the front doors,” said Tixier.

Police said they made a quick escape, but they’re thankful for the evidence they have.

“Video really helps are detectives solve a lot of these crimes,” said Tixier.

APD is now asking if anyone knows who these men are.

“Throwing liquor bottles at the manager, running into patrons that have absolutely nothing to do with it, but because they’re in the way, they run them down, it just shows a complete disregard for human decency,” said Tixier.

Police said the manager was left with a bloody nose. They also said one of the men barged through the automatic door, disabling it.
