New art installation on display at the Sunport

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A new art installation was unveiled at the Sunport today.

The “LoboScape” took two years to create.

UNM teamed up with the city of Albuquerque to promote new media and technology taught at the school. They also wanted to showcase how art and culture has evolved over the years.

“It’s really intended to spark and innovate people to think about new ways of thinking about how the University of New Mexico is evolving in terms of the things we teach here at the university,” said Tim Castillo, Director of Arts Lab at UNM.

The entire project was a collaborative effort all done locally.
