Albuquerque teens honored at city council

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Two Cibola High School graduates were given a surprise honor at Monday night’s city council meeting for being role models.

Monday was declared Dylan Preiff and Daniel Wilson day in Albuquerque.

The best friends volunteer in the community and were in the top of their class. Wilson walked 36 miles from the volcanoes to Sandia Peak a week after losing his mom to colon cancer in 2014. Pfieff was a loyal friend and helped Cibola win the state tennis championship this year. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
