ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The man who started a series of fires in the Bosque will be a free man soon.
Audie Helms appeared before a judge in court Wednesday. He’s set to be released on the June 16 on pre-trial services as long as he adheres to an alcohol treatment program.
Helms was arrested in April after police caught him setting a fire near Bridge in the south valley.
He is suspected of setting as many as seven, but so far he’s only charged with two.
