Drier air is in the process of working its way into New Mexico and is bringing a quick end to the afternoon thunderstorms. While we could still see a spot storm this evening, skies will for the most part clear out.
Yet another weather disturbance will head our way Thursday into Friday bringing an increasing chance for rain once again to the northern portion of the state. The area to watch most closely on Thursday will be the northwest plateau and the northern mountains. The chance for showers will continue into Friday before more moisture creeps in from the east on Saturday. The best chance for rain in the metro looks like Saturday afternoon.
