ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque police are seeking the public’s help tracking down a pair of thieves who pulled off a robbery that was caught on tape.

It happened at the Pizza 9 near Coors and I-40 on May 29.

Two robbers can be seen on surveillance video walking walk into the store. One suspect in a hoodie pulls a gun on the clerk and demands money.

Police say as the two left, one threatened the staff with the gun while shouting “don’t come after me!” One of the workers did go after the man as the video cuts off.

Officials say the man with a red hat on has a tattoo on his neck.

It was a scary night for the workers, but they know it could have been worse.

“My staff was shaken up but no one was physically harmed,” Pizza 9 Manager Cody Johnson said.

Pizza 9 employees say the robbers got away with about $80.

That this was the first time this store has been robbed.

Police say the two men are possibly suspects in one other robbery.
