TAOS, N.M. (KRQE) – A suspected shooter may be placed in a mental health treatment facility.
A 16-year-old Taos boy has been charged with second-degree murder for shooting 17-year-old Caleb Williams.
Police say they had been cleaning a sawed-off shotgun when the suspect got angry.
After the shooting, the teen tried to steal a car before his arrest.
A psychosocial evaluation was presented before a judge Tuesday.
