Chris’ Friday Afternoon Forecast

Moisture is streaming  in from the remnants of Andres from the Pacific.   This moisture along with a storm system off the West Coast will provide us with chances for rain beginning this afternoon and throughout the weekend off and on.   Rain will be most likely in the western half of the state today with central and eastern New Mexico favored for the rest of the weekend.   By Monday and Tuesday, we will start to drawn in moisture from Hurricane Blanca this will give the southwest and parts of the state a chance for some showers next week.   It won’t be widespread, but we will be in and out of rain across the state over the next 3-4 days before we start to dry out by the middle of next week.
