Vesper for new archbishop held in Santa Fe

SANTA FE (KRQE) – New Mexico’s newest archbishop will be honored with an installation mass tomorrow. Events kicked off Wednesday night with vespers.

Archbishop John C. Wester will be installed as the 12th Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe.

The mass will begin at 2 Thursday afternoon at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi.

The public is invited to attend, but only half of the cathedral seating will be for the public with first come first served seating.
