ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – An artist is needed to create the next mural in Nob Hill.

It’s in celebration of the neighborhood’s 100th birthday.

A selection committee made up of residents and businesses in Nob Hill are searching for someone to paint a 400 square foot mural. They’re looking for something that represents the area’s past and future.

“There’s a lot of history down here with route 66, and the architecture and the culture,” said Carolyn Chavez.

Bernalillo County is funding the project.

The deadline to submit entries is June 30. To submit, click here.
