ARCA Hosts 7th Annual Bowl-A-Thon

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Nine of our New Mexico Mayors will be competing to raise awareness and support for over 600 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities served by ARCA at our 7th Annual Bob Scanlon / Steve Mackie Bowl-a-Thon.  This annual celebration includes 1,000 attendees, 10,000 smiles and has generated over $500,000. We will see Albuquerque Mayor Berry in attendance and competing in the event.

This event includes three bowling sessions, a stellar silent auction including original artwork, lunch and, most importantly, the chance to meet new people and make new friends.

ARCA, founded in 1957, is the largest provider of life long services for infants, children, and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in the state. They exist to create opportunities for those who apart of the program.

Bank of the West has partnered up with ARCA for this event. Both being community driven, Bank of the West sough heavy involvement in the event.
