High wire bike is educational fun for adults

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Explora, the science and learning center for all ages in Albuquerque, has a high-wire bike for patrons to try out and learn about balance. Because the event is so fun and educational, it has been listed as item number 82 in the book, “100 Things To Do In Albuquerque Before You Die.”

Once riders meet the height and weight requirements for the ride, they put on a harness which is secured to the bike. The bike is balanced on the massive wire by counter weights at the bottom of the bike.

This is just one of the many fun and educational events to be enjoyed at Explora. For more information about the museum, you can visit the Explora website.
