Polly’s Rogers Foundation hosts run to end Pancreatic Cancer

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The mission is to end pancreatic cancer.

Beginning in 2009, the Polly Rogers Pancreatic Cancer Foundation was set in place after the passing of their name sake, Polly.

This foundation raises awareness for the disease, along with money for research to defeat it.

Polly’s Run was started by Polly’s best friend and three sons and is the largest fundraiser for the fight against Pancreatic Cancer in New Mexico.

Each year hundreds of friends, family members, and survivors either run or walk to not only continue the fight against this cancer, but to also celebrate lives lost and those who battle on.

The run/walk takes place Saturday, May 30 at Tiguex Park. It begins at 8 a.m and ends at 11 a.m.
