Lobos win big and lose big

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Lobos game against Fresno State was postponed Friday night and played Saturday. The Lobos went on to beat Fresno 9-1. Stand out Carl Stadjuar had 2 solo home runs in the game, and also received his 53rd RBI of the year. That mark is a new program record for most RBI’s by a freshman.

The Lobos then played San Diego State in the Championship game. They got off to a good start scoring 1 run in the top off the 1st inning. They then fell off big time in the 3rd inning. Giving up 8 runs and back to back home runs. They went on to get mercy ruled with a score of 11-1. The Lobos and Aztecs will settle the championship on Sunday for the winner take all game. First pitch will be at 2 p.m.
